Are you tired of special ordering your pointe shoes and waiting for them to arrive.
No one carries your size and if they do, they are more expensive than catalog and Internet
prices or they are out of stock when you need
them. What if you could go to Creative Dancewear
or our web site and purchase your pointe shoe for
a lower price than the mail order catalog and
know that we had one held just for you! You can if you join the Pointe Shoe
Reserve at Creative Dancewear.

How Does it Work |
- Choose the pointe shoe that you want us to stock. We will review the request and
then quote your price.
- The price of the shoe will be lower than the latest
price in the Discount Dance Supply catalog. We do not include
their freight charge when determining the price of your pointe shoes
that are shipped to the store, so we are
much lower
than their quote. If you agree on the price that we quote to you then....
- Join the Pointe Shoe
Reserve by placing a deposit of $40 on the shoe that we are to stock
for you (you may enroll with the form above). The
first shoe should take about two weeks to arrive under normal conditions.
We pay for ground freight to get it
to the store. Air freight is an extra charge.
- What if I want you to carry more than one pair of the shoe that I select in stock?
You will need to place an additional $40 deposit down for each additional pair that
we are to have in stock for you. The terms are the same as listed above.
- When the shoe arrives, you will be notified that we have it in stock. When you
come by or order it on line, you will pay the amount that we agreed upon for the shoe plus sales tax
if applicable.
The $40 deposit is not applied to the price of the shoes unless you change the pointe shoe
that your want us to stock for you or you wish to leave the Pointe Shoe
Reserve, or have left
a shoe that we have in stock for you for over a year, then that $40 is applied to the
price of the shoe being held for you. The shoe is given to you at that time.
- After you purchase the pair that we have stocked for you, we automatically reorder
another identical pair for you and notify you when it arrives. Under normal
conditions, you should have another pair waiting for you in about two weeks. You do
not have to pay for the shoe until you pick it up
or order it on line, but don't leave it over a year or your
deposit will be applied to the shoe and you will have to re-enroll in the Pointe Shoe
Reserve. If you do not
want another shoe to be automatically
ordered, let us know at the time you
purchase your shoe!
- I have dance camps and the Nutcracker so I need more than one pair at times. How
do you handle that? You can place a special order for additional pairs of the shoe
that you selected, and you would need to pay for the shoes at the time of the order
on Russian Pointe and Gaynor Minden only.
- I don't use any of the brands of pointe shoes that you have listed. Is there any
chance of adding other brands? Yes, but it depends on the response. The best
way is to
email us and tell us the brand
and the shoe that you are wanting. Encourage your friends to do the same and we will
review the demand.
- Can I try on the shoe before I purchase it? Yes, we would encourage you to do so
if it is convenient for you to do so.
- I am a member of Creative Dancewear's
10% Discount Club.
Do I get additional discounts on the Pointe Shoe
Reserve? No, the Pointe Shoe Reserve is
designed to give you the ultimate low price on pointe shoes.
- Can I enroll without coming in the store? Yes,
you can enroll by filling out the form at
the top of this page or by phoning us at (405) 843-2545 and
letting us know the brand, style and size
of the pointe shoe that you want us to
carry for you. We will need to charge your credit card $40 to join the
Pointe Shoe Reserve.
